COVID-19:Pure Michigan Small Business Relief Initiative

The Michigan Economic Development Corp. (MEDC) has announced a $10 million initiative allocated toward Michigan small businesses that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. This initiative, called the Pure Michigan Small Business Relief Fund, is intended to help support the needs of businesses included restaurants and bars, lodging, live event venues, movie theatres, gyms and fitness centers, and other small businesses in Michigan. Businesses may begin applying for this grant beginning Tuesday, December 15th at 9 am EST.
Grants are being awarded up to $15,000 each and are being reviewed on a “first-in” basis, and will end when the targeted allocations per region are met. These grants may be used for payroll expenses, rent, mortgage payments, or utilities.
